What’s the NK- Cell
Natural Killer cells are one of immune cell which have the ability to recognize and kill stressed cells in the absence of antibodies and major histocompatibility complex (MHC). NK cells provide rapid responses to virus-infected cell and other intracellular pathogens acting at around 3 days after infection, and respond to tumor formation. NK cells have various receptors,thus that can recognize abnormal cells, they detect and immediately remove abnormal cells without specific antigens. that control immune and inflammatory responses by inducing the activation of dendritic cells, T cells, and B cells. NK cells effectively remove cancer stem cells or circulating tumor cells.
